Rescue and Redemption by Daniel Banner

My review is on the Contemporary Christian Romance, Rescue, and Redemption. This is a Park City Firefighter Romance. I've only read a couple of Daniel's books but I really enjoy the man's view that he brings to these romances. They are well-written, humorous, and full of drama. I know you are going to love it.

Firefighter JFK is one of the few men left at the firehouse that is single. He has no idea how to treat a lady. He is known for being crude, rude, and obnoxious. JFK is a master chef; when one of his people tells him about Homecooked Holidays event for older citizens that is going to be cancelled because they have no chef. He ends up agreeing to do it. When he is working in the kitchen the volunteer coordinator turns out to be a really hot woman; he can't get her out of his mind.

Mercy McGovern just graduated from college as a nonprofit Manager. When she heard about the Homecooked Holidays event being cancelled she volunteers to coordinate the event. She had once been an alcoholic but had just received her two-year sobriety medal. She meets this gorgeous guy in the kitchen and he asked her out for a drink. So not a good idea. She shows him her medal. He asks her to go to a Firehouse Award Banquet. She goes but the man has no manners at all. He is hopeless.

A humorous journey on how to change a guy with no clue into a respectable man. God has a plan for these two broken souls, a plan for hope and a future. God has a plan for you too. A plan for peace and not for destruction. Give Him your heart and watch HIm move in your life.
