A Christmas Miracle for the Hopeless Rancher by Etta Foster

My review today is on the Historical Western Romance, A Christmas Miracle for the Hopeless Rancher. I enjoy Etta's books but I must tell you I didn't like the characters in the first part of the book. They were a bunch of whiners and complainers. You have to really feel bad for Louise. She had no idea what a mess she was getting into. This story is well written and the it will touch your heart.
Louise Moreau was brought up in Louisiana. Well off, her father refused to allow her to read books or newspapers, she was to be a lady. Louise had other ideas and answered a mail order bride ad. Her sister told her parents before Louise was ready. She ended up going to visit the man but had to take her older sister with her.  Luanne resented her sister finding a husband before her. Then she was forced to go with her. She threw herself at Jacob but he spurned her and made her even more resentful.Things were going fairly well between Richard and Louise until he has an accident.
Richard Hanson was the elder brother on the ranch. His brother Jacob resented everything about Richard, the golden boy. He gave his brother a terrible time about his mail order bride until she showed up, then he did everything he could to steal her away from his brother. Was the accident his fault? He never meant to hurt his brother permanently.
A terrible struggle of one woman trying to make a good situation out of a tragedy. God has a plan for these two families a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too. Give Him a chance to turn your life around.
