My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Under Surveillance. I'm always glad to get one of Jodie's books in the mail. This one wasn't a disappointment. This story is well written, action packed and full of faith. I know you are going to love it.
Macey Price is irritated when she sees her dog out of the house and running free. How did he get out of her house? She had locked him in before she went for a run. When she returns to her home an hour later, (without the dog,) she can see someone in her home. She hears two men talking on her deck. They plan to take her with them. Her dog comes running up and her intruder runs so she runs into the woods only to be caught. Macey teaches self defense and attacks the man the first chance she gets.
Undercover Army Operative Trey Blackburn gets the text he's been waiting for. "Get Macey Price. Now" He has had her under surveillance for some time. They have evidence that Macey is selling government secrets. He finds a white van in her drive. Is she going to flee? As he watches he see Macey thrown over a man shoulder. She's being kidnapped. The dog comes barreling across the yard and knocks over one of the men. Macey grabs the belt of the guy who holds her and does moves Trey hasn't seen before. The men run off. Is Macey innocent or is she being framed?
A terrifying journey as the enemy comes after her as their target and include Trey into the equation. God has a plan for these two, a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too; a plan for peace and not destruction. Give Him your heart and watch Him work even in this time of chaos.
