The Kindling by Tamara Leigh

My review today is on the Medieval Romance, The Kindling. This is the fourth book in the Age of Faith Series. This has been an excellent series and each book is that much harder to put down. I'm sad I'm over half way to the end. This book is well written, action packed and full of twists and turns. You are going to love this one.

Helene of Tippet is a healer. She is the illegitimate daughter of the deceased Baron of Lavonne, her brother Sir Robert caused all kinds of havoc in book three. In the third book she and her father are rescued from her brother by Able Wulfrith and she is  returned to her son. It was amazing how she was attracted to the man but she is but a commoner. She is called to Baron Lavonne's castle to use her healing gift on Able as he was almost killed in a battle with her brother to save his sister. She fears for her heart but she must give Able a will to live. She knows when he finds out who she really is he will never forgive her for what her family has done to him and his family even though she wasn't raised by them. Her brother Christian isn't even aware of her lineage.

Able Wulfrith is one of the most dangerous of the Wulfrith Family but with the loss of the use of his right hand, other serious injuries, and almost loosing his leg he has given up all hope. He had withdrawn into himself and given up. When his family mentions Helene's name to heal him; he is shock into his refusing her help. Helene  is then sent for because of his reaction to her name. She comes to Castle Soaring and starts administering her medicinals and Able begins to improve. He finds out who she really is and then returns to Wulfrith Castle to begin to train with his left hand.

Two broken-hearted souls with no hope for a future. Evil comes against them as she is thought to be a witch, Able and his family must save her. God has a plan for them; a future much greater than they have ever dreamed of. God has a plan for you too. A much greater plan you ever hoped for. Just surrender to Him and watch Him move.
